Students are considered tardy if they arrive after 8:50 a.m. If your child arrives late, he or she should check in with Mrs. Nofsinger in the school office.

Before School
1. Students may begin arriving at school at 8:30 a.m.

2. Upon arrival, students should go straight to the gym, entering through the gym doors near the main entrance. In the gym, students can sit wherever they wish.

3. Starting at 8:30 a.m. breakfast service will begin.

4. Student Behavior Expectations:
........Talk quietly
........Be kind and respectful
........Stay seated until dismissed

5. After the first bell rings at 8:38 a.m., students will be dismissed to classrooms by the supervisor on duty, exiting through the hall doors. Those still eating breakfast will be encouraged to finish and proceed to class as quickly as possible.

6. Students who arrive between 8:38 and 8:50 will go straight to their classrooms, unless they are eating breakfast.

7. Students who arrive after 8:50 a.m. should stop by the office to pick up a tardy slip from Mrs. Nofsinger.

After School
1. Classroom teachers should make sure that all students are packed, quiet, and ready to leave when the first bell rings at 3:23 p.m.

2. When the 3:23 p.m. bell rings, all teachers will escort their students to the gym entering through the hallway doors. Once the students enter the gym they should sit in rows underneath the appropriate bus number. Walkers, car riders, and bike riders should sit underneath the sign labeled “PPU/W”.

3. Once the buses arrive the students will be released by bus. All walkers and parent pick-ups will be dismissed after all buses have departed. This has been a safer method for all of our students and has eliminated much of the congestion in an already congested parking lot.

4. At 3:30 or once all the buses have departed) all walkers, car riders, and bike riders will be dismissed. Parents are welcome to wait in the foyer for their child(ren) or may simply pick them up in the front of the school once they have been dismissed from the gym.

5. If a bus is late those students will wait in the gym, under the supervision of the adults on duty, until the bus arrives.

Note:  No students will be allowed to ride a different bus then normal.  Only extreme emergencies will be given            consideration.  If your child is getting picked up, please send a note or call Mrs. Nofsinger, 427-5350, so  we can help your child remember.  Consistency always helps!
