At Central Junior High School, we encourage all of our students to become involved in an extra curricular activity during their time here. We, the administration, truly believe that academic achievement is greatly improved when the students are involved in a sport or a club. We will make every effort to enhance our extra curricular activities and to make them available for all students to participate in. In addition to the sports that we offer at CJHS, we also have a long list of clubs and organizations.
 

There is an annual, one-time activity participation fee of $60.  Families with more than one student will pay a maximum of $100.  Reduced lunch students will pay 1/3 of the cost, with parents volunteering 5 hours toward CJHS activities.  Free lunch students will not pay the fee, but parents will volunteer 10 hours toward CJHS activities.

Softball:
Monday July 26, 2010 -8-10 am Tueseday 27th and  Wednesday 28th,  2010 from 5-7 P.M. at Taylor Street

Baseball:
Monday August 2, 2010 - Wednesday August 4, 2010 from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Eastside Centre

Cross Country:
Starting July 6, 2010 Tues./Thurs. 7:00 - 8:00 Open Run at Lincoln School
Official practice begins August 2, 2010 from 7:00 - 8:00 at Lincoln School
