Mrs. D'Alfonso and I teach the Title 1 reading class.  Students will have homework throughout the school year.  Every student will receive a V.I.P. list (Vocabulary Is Power) on Monday.  A vocabulary test will be given on Friday.  Students need to study the vocabulary words each night.  Students will need to read A.R. books (Accelerated Reader) and take comprehension tests over the literature.  Our students will need to earn 10 points each grading period.  The A.R. points will be worth ten percent of the student's reading grade.
