What's New
We
are still reading our Monarch books. Shark vs. Train
is popular with the students, but we still have many more to
read!

According to the
Illinois School Media Association, our Monarch butterfly was
chosen because it:
1) Symbolizes the growth,
change and freedom that becoming a reader brings and
2) It is designed to
encourage children to read critically and become familiar
with children's books, authors and illustrators. The program
is open to all K-3 age children in Illinois.
**We
also received 16 new books from the Book Fair. These were
donations from parents and Parent Club. Thank you so much
for remembering the library. Many students will get to
enjoy the books for years to come.
Our
overdue/fine notices are orange and green. If you see an
orange notice (overdue), it means the book needs to come
back to school because it is late. If you see a green
notice (fine) it means the book has been returned to school
but was late so a fine was incurred.
A BIG
thank you to all the library parent volunteers!
