Library Use Rules
Students in the Third through Fifth
Grades may check out books for a two week period. They may be returned when
the student is finished with them at any time before the due date.
A maximum of four items may be checked out at any one time. Only
one magazine may be checked at a time, and at least one book
must also be checked out with the magazine. Only the past issues
of a magazine may be checked out.
Books are to be returned to the book box outside the Glendale
Library door. Please make sure your student brings his or her
books back on time or they will have a fine of two cents per
day. The fine is to be paid before they may check out again. If
they have a book that is overdue, they are not to check out any
new books.
Your
student is responsible for his or her checked out books
and/or magazines. Help them to return them to the Library in
good condition so that they will not incur any expenses
related to repairing or replacing books.
