Examine the site for usability:
  •   Look at the site navigation.  Is it easy to use?  Are important links easily found?  Is information in a logical order?  Is navigation consistent from page to page?
  •   Look at the quality of the information provided.  Is it in depth?  Is information up-to-date?  Is it in line with other available information?

Also consider:

  •   Does the site function well with a variety of web browsers and plug ins?  If you're using the site at home this doesn't matter as much.  In an environment with a number of computers, they may not all meet the same site requirements.
