October 7th, 2011: Teacher Institute Day
TTLA Day (Technology Targeting Learning Achievement Day)

Last year, instead of an Expo, we used the day to target learning achievement through technology integration.  We looked again at the NETS, then brainstormed technology integration ideas tied to student needs per MAP data.  The day was planned to provide resources and time, plus sharing of ideas and progress along the way.

This year we had Expo-type breakout sessions in the morning targeting learning achievement through technology integration.  Grade level sharing (K-2, 3-5, 6-8) also occurred.  Then, after lunch on their own, staff again created tech integration lessons and uploaded them to the TIMM or Technology Integration to MAP Moodle.

Beginning of the School Year Activities:

TeacherWeb - Sessions were held in all buildings during the end of August.
