Communication

Communication between parents and teachers is essential to student success. In addition to phone calls, I will be communicating with you daily through your child's assignment notebook. Please try to check the assignment notebook each day to check for comments. I will try to answer notes written by you in the notebook as promptly as possible. New this year is the daily report you’ve seen coming home with your child. For some students, the teachers in our room fill out this form with input from the student as appropriate. Other students fill out the report on their own, with assistance as needed. In addition to providing more information to you about what happens during the day, these reports give our students a chance to reflect on the day’s activities.
