Field Trips

This year we will be trying to take one field trip per month. I will send a note home about each individual trip. That note will indicate any specifics you need to know. Most of our trips will require sending your child with a sack lunch. If this is ever a problem, please let me know. And for every field trip, please make sure your child dresses appropriately for the weather and wears tennis shoes. For most of our trips, parents are welcome to join us. I hope you’ll be able to make it on at least one trip with us this year, but I understand how hectic schedules can be. : )

New this year: field trip t-shirts! Before our first field trip, we will be painting shirts that each of our students, as well as the teachers, will be wearing whenever we go on a trip. The idea is to having matching colors that will be easy to pick out in a crowd. Students can either wear the field trip shirt over the clothes they have on or can change into the shirt before we leave. I will take care of washing the shirts, and will keep them here at school.
