Do I Have Enough Time?

As you know, busy lives can make it hard to find time to spend reading.  You share reading experiences with your child each day, without even taking much extra time.  Each time you share the reading of a recipe, sign, menu, T.V. Guide, product directions, cereal boxes, etc. your child will realize how important reading is in his/her every day life.

You can increase reading time by being your child's reading partner.  Grandparents, siblings, and family friends can also be good reading partners for your child.  If possible, set aside a routine reading time with your child each day.  Your child will look forward to the time you share!
