Attention 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls: If you are interested in trying out for volleyball, there are sign up sheets posted in the cafeteria starting today. Please sign up if you plan on trying out for this year’s team. Tryouts will be December 11th, 12th, and 13th. We encourage anyone and everyone to try out! Please make sure you have an updated physical on file before tryouts! Coach Fisher and Coach Traynor look forward to seeing you on December 11th.

All PE students need to bring their chromebooks to class on Friday of this week and Monday and Tuesday of next week.

Do you have any Lego people and animals that you no longer use? The tech lab is looking for donations for the computer animation module.  You can drop them off to Mr. Ames at anytime.

The 8th grade boys basketball team beat Peoria Christian last night, 49-24.  Leading the way was Cooper S. with 19 points and 5 steals.  Nick T. scored 12 of his 16 in the first quarter, Shon S. with 7, 5 for Ethan S., and Tyler E. added hustle and  a bucket.  And we can’t forget Cannon P. for making these stats available because of his superior scorebook keeping.  Great job boys!

Be sure to stop in the library and sign up for a Pop Up MakerSpace activity with Miss Sue from Fondulac library. She will be offering an Art Bot making activity during the 5 Block. Space is limited, so make sure to let Mrs. Westbrook know that you want on the list!

The 8th Grade Girls’ Basketball Team didn’t end the regular season with a victory, but their efforts did not go unnoticed.  They took a 1 point halftime lead into the locker room against last year’s state runner up.   They should be very proud of the hustle and effort they put forth to give an undefeated team a major challenge.  Leading scorers for the Wildcats were Elena R. with 15, Janessa H. with 10, Kaylie H. with 5 points and 0 airballs, and Michaela G. added a free throw. Good luck at regionals girls!
