Come out tonight to Morton Junior High School where the 8th grade girls’ basketball team will be taking on Morton for the Regional Championship!  These girls have worked hard to get here and could use your support to help quiet the home crowd. Game time is 6:30! Wildcats! Wildcats!

Starting Monday, student council’s annual Red Stocking Fund begins. For this event, bring in spare change (such as: quarters, dimes, nickels, pennies and even dollar bills) to your study hall to raise money for different charities throughout the East Peoria community. All the money donated will be given to the Richland Youth Center in East Peoria and the Moms Who Care closet at CJHS. Winter coats, hats, scarves, gloves etc. will be purchased for students that go to school here! The top 3 study halls who bring in the most amount of money will earn their grade level 200 Take Pride points. Reminder that Christmas is the time for giving. If each student at CJHS skipped snack bar ONE DAY next week, we will raise $300. Challenge yourself this week to do so and help out those in need.

Student Council members, did you turn in your Teen Conference forms? If not, please return them to Mrs. Miller at this time. This is your last chance!

Attention all girls interested in Volleyball, tryouts have been scheduled for Friday, Dec 6 and Monday Dec 9 from 3:30-5pm. Please plan on attending both try-outs if you would like to make the team. All girls will need an up to date physical as well as a concussion form turned in.
