Shute School is doing a One-Book, One School community read for grades K-2. Each family has been given a copy of the book A Boy Called Bat. This book will be a fun way to spend time together as a family and encourage a love of reading in your children! A guide was sent home to pace your reading and for great discussion questions as you go. Some of your Shute staff have pre-recorded chapters that you can hear as a read-aloud. This will be posted on Sunday under the News section with a link to click to hear the different chapters.
Reminder that there is no school on Monday, February 16 for President's Day.

Valentine's Day parties will be held the last hour of the day on Friday, Feburary 13.

We are collecting brand new teddy bears for the Cuddles With Kindness Valentine's Day Drive. Teddy bears need to be dropped off at the school no later than February 5, as they will be taken to OSF Children's Hospital before Valentine's Day.
