Friday, Oct. 6, will be an early dismissal for Glendale students. Dismissal will take place at 12:40pm. There will also be no school on Monday, Oct. 9, due to the holiday.

This month's Change for Charity is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in support of Team Bri. Bring in some change and wear your purple gear on Friday, September 29!
Any donation from 25 cents or more allows you to participate in our theme for the day.
This month's Board of Education meeting will take place on Thursday, September 21, starting at 7:00pm at the Administration Building.

Wear your comfy pajamas and be cozy while learning!

Tuesday - Tacky Tourist Day
Wear a fanny pack, socks with sandals, a Hawaiian shirt or whatever makes you look like a tacky tourist visiting a new location!
Wednesday - Hero Day
Who is your hero? Maybe it’s a superhero, like Captain America. Maybe it’s a community helper, such as a firefighter or a nurse. Or maybe it’s someone you know, like your mom, dad, or teacher. Dress like your hero today!

Today is in-person registration at CJHS: 601 Taylor Street, from 12:00-6:30 PM for new students or those who were unable to complete the returning student online registration.

On Thursday, May 25, Glendale School will be taking a trip to Wildlife Prairie Park. All students will need to bring a sack lunch and wear comfortable walking shoes.
The 5th grade students will be visiting the CJHS and having a picnic on Thursday, May 18. Students will need to bring a sack lunch that day.
5th graders interested in band are invited to the Beginning Band Sign-Up Meeting.

The Glendale/Wilson PTO meeting will take place Tuesday, May 9, at Glendale at 6:00 PM.
We will be taking our final round of standardized tests over the next two weeks. Map Reading will take place the week of May 8, and the iReady Diagnostic will happen during the week of May 15. Please help the students to be rested, healthy and present.
A note explaining the upcoming Erin's Law Presentations will be going home this week. The presentations will take place on Wednesday, April 26.
There wil be no school on Friday, April 7, or on Monday, April 10, due to Easter Break.
School will resume on Tuesday, April 11.
