Early Dismissal on Thursday, April 6th to kick off Easter Break! Enjoy time off with family and friends!
Out of an abundance of caution related to the potential of weather concerns this afternoon, Central Junior High School will be dismissing students at 12:30 pm. K-2 schools will be dismissed at 1:30, and 3-5 schools will be dismissed at 1:40 pm. Please contact your child’s school if this changes their transportation for this afternoon. Latchkey has informed us that they will also be closing at 4:30 pm due to weather concerns. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your understanding as we look at the safety of our students and staff.
Run for Fun starts on April 3rd! Practices will be at Lincoln on the 3rd, 17th, 24th, May 1st and may 8th after school until 4:15. Make sure your child has shoes and running clothes with them on those days. The tentative date for the race will be May 11th. Information will be coming home with further details. Your child must attend at least 3 practices to qualify to run in the race.

Spring Break is almost here! Enjoy some relaxation and fun! Fingers crossed for great weather! We will be on Spring Break March 20-25th.
Illinois Science Testing begins next week (March 13-15) for all 5th grade students. Each student will participate in 3 test sessions covering Life, Physical and Earth/Space Science. Please make sure your child gets a good night of sleep and eats a healthy breakfast!

4th grade got to work together and create in the STEAM Lab this week. They are making electromagnets and ping pong ball launchers. So fun to watch them working together to create!!
