Congratulations to Tucker A.! Over the season Tucker has pitched a total of 24 innings for our baseball team. Among those innings he has accumulated 27 strikeouts and only 8 walks. He has also been a force at the plate with a .395 batting average and bringing in a total of 19 RBI's.
Congratulations to Cruise M.! Cruise has been an integral part of our baseball team as he is a wall at shortstop with 36 total chances 30 putouts, 6 assists and zero errors. He is also dominating at the plate with a .390 batting average and 21 RBIs.
Congratulations to Ms. Huwe! Ms. Huwe has been a tremendous help getting the school year off to a great start in Mrs. Pericak's room. She has been willing to share her knowledge, time, and resources in 6th grade math!

Girls basketball season begins tomorrow! Tryouts will be held on Monday, 9/15 and Tuesday, 9/16. Students must have a current sports physical on file to tryout, no exceptions.
For girls who make the team, the player fee is $75.

September 15 - 19 will be a spirit week in conjunction with EPCHS for homecoming week!
Monday: Prehistoric Prints (stripes, polka dots, animal, etc), Tuesday: Time Travel (dress as your favorite era), Wednesday: Western (wear country attire or anything Western), Thursday: Class colors, Friday: Maroon and Gold

Congratulations to Carter P. for his recent selection as a Top Performer! Carter has cut 3.5 minutes off his time since the first meet this season! He is the BIGGEST cheerleader for his teammates, always positive, and a great leader. Carter gives 100% at practice and pushes himself and others to improve. Way to go, Carter!

Last week Everett Z. batted .500 with 1 single, 1 double, and 1 home run. He has also driven in 3 RBI's. While doing this he has covered centerfield with stellar precision and even came in to close a game out on the mound striking out 2 batters.
Through nine games, Trinity P. is hitting .375 with three doubles, two triples, and FOUR home runs!

If your 6th-8th grade student is interested in Speech(Drama) this fall, please have them come to the school to meet Mrs. Vance at 7am tomorrow morning in Mrs. Vance's classroom. She will be by the main entrance to open doors for your student. If your student is not able to attend tomorrow's meeting, please email Mrs. Vance at vanceg@epd86.org.
