August 18 – 6th Grade Orientation (6:00–7:00 PM)
Join us for 6th Grade Orientation on August 18 from 6:00–7:00 PM. Students and families will have the opportunity to meet teachers, tour the building, and learn about the upcoming school year.

The first pitch for the varsity baseball game at Kingsley has been moved from 10:00 AM to 9:00 AM. The game at Chiddix will follow afterwards. The bus will move the team from Kingsley to Chiddix between games.

This year students may purchase a "Wildcat Crew" t-shirt to serve as their "ticket" into all regular season CJHS basketball, volleyball, and wrestling events. 6-8th grade students wearing this shirt will be admitted for free.

25-26 School Supply List

As of 8:00 am baseball camp is on as scheduled. Softball practice is on as scheduled at Eastside.

As of 7:30 AM softball tryouts and baseball camp are on as scheduled. Either thunderstorms in the forecast later this morning all activities will likely end early. Please be prepared to pickup as needed. In the case of severe weather, athletes and campers will be relocated to the CJHS cafeteria for pickup.

As of 8:30 AM softball tryouts are still on, but will finish today at 10:30 AM.

Fall sports tryouts are just around the corner. Students MUST have a current sports physical on file in order to tryout. Email jacobsonb@epd86.org with questions.

As of 8:00 AM, softball tryouts are still on as scheduled. Parents please be advised that weather conditions could cut tryouts short today.

2025 Softball, Baseball, and Cross Country Schedules

Attention CJHS parents,

The UIC Nursing Mobile Health & Wellness Unit will be offering free school and sports physicals at East Peoria Community High School on Thursday, July 31 from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

CJHS Students may attend, but must be accompanied by a parent/guardian in order to be seen. A current sports physical must be on file with the CJHS Athletics Office in order to tryout or continue to participate in any athletic activity.
