Congratulations to Abram W.! Abram is a great team member. He is always working hard and strives to improve his performance at practice as well as meets. He is dedicated to becoming the best athlete he can be.
Congratulations to Kamyia W.-S.! Kaymia is a great team member. She is a good leader and is always encouraging her teammates. She is always working hard and strives to improve her performance at meets. She is dedicated to becoming the best athlete she can be.
Congratulations to Jovie D. and Brynley H.! Jovie and Brynley are a dynamic duo! They work hard day in and day out, push each other to their limits, encourage their teammates while holding them accountable, and always strive for new PRs!
Congratulations to Tenley M.! Tenley works hard anytime she is on the floor which has been a lot. She played in both 7th and 8th grade games all this week and hustles, rebounds, and is a true example of a team player. She helps her teammates in any way that she can and will do whatever a coach asks her to do.
Congratulations to Madelynn D.! Madelynn has improved so much in the leadership role this season. She has started to make the extra pass to a teammate while still looking for her own opportunities to score. She had a big game against South Pekin this week scoring 21 points.
Congratulations to Aubreigh D.! Aubreigh has also been playing significant minutes each game day. She hustles from tipoff to the final buzzer. She can mostly be found diving on the floor or grabbing a rebound to help her team. She has stepped up to help bring the ball down the court or post up inside. She is willing to leave everything she can contribute every single game. Keep up the good work Aubreigh!
And finally congratulations to Mrs. Harper! Her colleagues said that Mrs. Harper has been such a benefit to our school. She is such a bright light and kids love getting to go talk to her. Jessie has helped solidify the WILDCATS of the month with SEL hub and overall has made such positive contributions to CJHS. She understands and helps students, she helps coach, she is respectful to staff

Boys basketball tryouts begin next week! Open gym will be this Thursday before school. Students must have a CURRENT sports physical on file to tryout.
