Congratulations to Izzy F.! Izzy had an amazing game against Dunlap Valley on 10/21. She played tough defense, causing several turnovers and also hit some timely 3 pointers and had10 total points to help lead her team to an exciting 3 point victory.
Congratulations to Saylor S.! Saylor contributes to our games in so many ways. She hustles from the opening tipoff to the final buzzer. She leads the offense by making great passes to her teammates. She also causes turnovers by our opponents which lead to scoring opportunities for our team. She had a great game against Dunlap Valley on 10/21 where she had close to 10 steals on the press which led to Wildcat points. She is a great leader.
Congratulations to Sydney H.! Sydney had a great game against Pekin Edison on 10/25. She scored a game high 20 points out of 29 total points. She has a great work ethic which is shown by getting herself into rebounding position every time a shot goes up on both offense and defense. She is a leader by example, she plays aggressive every time she steps on the court. She also wants her teammates to be successful by making great passes to give them scoring opportunities.
Congratulations to Brynley H.! Brynley is a great team player who stays calm under pressure and shows excellent court awareness. She consistently supports her teammates, offering insight on plays and adjusting quickly when needed. Her number of assists and rebounds make her an essential part of the team’s success. Brynley’s unselfishness, determination, and leadership truly make her stand out on the court!

Congratulations to Tenley M.! Tenley works hard anytime she is on the floor which has been a lot. She played in both 7th and 8th grade games all this week and hustles, rebounds, and is a true example of a team player. She helps her teammates in any way that she can and will do whatever a coach asks her to do.
Congratulations to Madelynn D.! Madelynn has improved so much in the leadership role this season. She has started to make the extra pass to a teammate while still looking for her own opportunities to score. She had a big game against South Pekin this week scoring 21 points.
Congratulations to Aubreigh D.! Aubreigh has also been playing significant minutes each game day. She hustles from tipoff to the final buzzer. She can mostly be found diving on the floor or grabbing a rebound to help her team. She has stepped up to help bring the ball down the court or post up inside. She is willing to leave everything she can contribute every single game. Keep up the good work Aubreigh!
And finally congratulations to Mrs. Harper! Her colleagues said that Mrs. Harper has been such a benefit to our school. She is such a bright light and kids love getting to go talk to her. Jessie has helped solidify the WILDCATS of the month with SEL hub and overall has made such positive contributions to CJHS. She understands and helps students, she helps coach, she is respectful to staff
