Reminder...there's still time to sign up for the District 86 summer learning program! The deadline to enroll your child in the summer program is this Friday, May 5th. Please send this completed slip to your child's school to sign up or contact your principal. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Wallace at wallacem@epd86.org.
This Friday will be the last morning for kids to purchase a ticket for a chance to throw a pie in the face to either Mrs. Silotto or Mr. Wallace! They will be drawing the names fof the lucky winners during our morning announcements on Friday. If your child would like a chance, it is $1 per ticket. All proceeds go to St. Jude!
There is still room available for students to join us for our summer learning program. Signup sheets can go to your child's school any time before May 5th. Hope to see as many of our district 86 students as can make it!

Out of an abundance of caution related to the potential of weather concerns this afternoon, Central Junior High School will be dismissing students at 12:30 pm. K-2 schools will be dismissed at 1:30, and 3-5 schools will be dismissed at 1:40 pm. Please contact your child’s school if this changes their transportation for this afternoon. Latchkey has informed us that they will also be closing at 4:30 pm due to weather concerns. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your understanding as we look at the safety of our students and staff.
Report cards are being sent home today. Be sure to check your child's backpack/folder!

Friday, March 17th is the last day of school before Spring Break. This is a full day of school, and we will dismiss at normal times. Classes will resume on Monday, March 27th. Have a great Spring Break!
Don't forget to send in your dimes this week for the class coin wars!!! We will see which class is the winner and brought in the most dimes this week.
We are extending the glow bracelet sales and they will be available for purchase tomorrow or until supplies run out. These will be for kids to wear during their glow bowling PE time on Friday. Bracelets are .25 each with a maximum of 4 per child. Also, don't forget to send in your dimes for your child's classroom and/or $1 per ticket for a chance to pie Mrs. Silotto in the face. Don't forget that proceeds from all of these activities go to St. Jude!

FUNDRAISER ALERT!!! Our Krispy Kreme fundraiser begins today and runs until March 1. The pickup date from Shute school is Thursday, March 9th from 7:30 am- 9:30 am.
