On Thursday, May 25, Glendale School will be taking a trip to Wildlife Prairie Park. All students will need to bring a sack lunch and wear comfortable walking shoes.
The 5th grade students will be visiting the CJHS and having a picnic on Thursday, May 18. Students will need to bring a sack lunch that day.
5th graders interested in band are invited to the Beginning Band Sign-Up Meeting.

The Glendale/Wilson PTO meeting will take place Tuesday, May 9, at Glendale at 6:00 PM.
We will be taking our final round of standardized tests over the next two weeks. Map Reading will take place the week of May 8, and the iReady Diagnostic will happen during the week of May 15. Please help the students to be rested, healthy and present.
A note explaining the upcoming Erin's Law Presentations will be going home this week. The presentations will take place on Wednesday, April 26.
There wil be no school on Friday, April 7, or on Monday, April 10, due to Easter Break.

This week begins Glendale's IAR testing. Students will be completing their ELA tests on Tuesday and Wednesday (April 4 & 5) and completing their Math tests next Tuesday through Thursday (April 11-13). Please make sure students get plenty of sleep and a healthy breakfast to be ready each day.
There will be no Homework Helpers on Tuesday 4/4/23 and Thursday 4/6/23. We WILL have Homework Helpers on Wednesday 4/5/23!
Game Night on Wednesday has been cancelled. It will resume on 4/12/23.
Out of an abundance of caution related to the potential of weather concerns this afternoon, Central Junior High School will be dismissing students at 12:30 pm. K-2 schools will be dismissed at 1:30, and 3-5 schools will be dismissed at 1:40 pm. Please contact your child’s school if this changes their transportation for this afternoon. Latchkey has informed us that they will also be closing at 4:30 pm due to weather concerns. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your understanding as we look at the safety of our students and staff.
Good evening. This is just a reminder that our fundraiser pick up night is tomorrow at Glendale School from 3:00 until 5:30 pm at the front doors. If you cannot make it, please make arrangements for someone to do it for you as we don't have freezer space to store orders that are not picked up. Thank you!
The deadline for yearbook order forms is Thursday, March 30.
There will be no school from March 20-24 due to Spring Break.
