25-26 School Supply List

As of 8:00 am baseball camp is on as scheduled. Softball practice is on as scheduled at Eastside.

As of 7:30 AM softball tryouts and baseball camp are on as scheduled. Either thunderstorms in the forecast later this morning all activities will likely end early. Please be prepared to pickup as needed. In the case of severe weather, athletes and campers will be relocated to the CJHS cafeteria for pickup.

As of 8:30 AM softball tryouts are still on, but will finish today at 10:30 AM.

Fall sports tryouts are just around the corner. Students MUST have a current sports physical on file in order to tryout. Email jacobsonb@epd86.org with questions.

As of 8:00 AM, softball tryouts are still on as scheduled. Parents please be advised that weather conditions could cut tryouts short today.

2025 Softball, Baseball, and Cross Country Schedules

Attention CJHS parents,

The UIC Nursing Mobile Health & Wellness Unit will be offering free school and sports physicals at East Peoria Community High School on Thursday, July 31 from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

CJHS Students may attend, but must be accompanied by a parent/guardian in order to be seen. A current sports physical must be on file with the CJHS Athletics Office in order to tryout or continue to participate in any athletic activity.

Online Registration for Returning Students starts this Monday, July 14th and goes through Friday, August 1st. If you have any issues logging into your account, please call the district office at 309-427-5100 and they will be glad to help you. If you need help with the online registration process or you need access to a computer, registration help will be available Wednesday, August 6th at Central Junior High, 601 Taylor Street, from 2:00-6:00 pm. The school supply lists are available on the district website homepage under NEWS and also at local stores.

Congratulations to Nikki B. and Braycin W. for qualifying for the state track finals over Memorial Day Weekend! Nikki finished 4th in the state in the 7th grade 100m Hurdles, posting a time of 16.98 seconds! Braycin's prelim time at the state meet was 13.47 seconds! Congratulations to both athletes on making it all the way to the final meet of the season!

Parents- Students interested in baseball or basketball camp can sign up the day of the camp. Please note the time change of basketball camp from 12:30-2:00!

Summer Camp and Fall Tryout Information! Basketball Camp will now be from 12:30-2:00 PM to accommodate summer school. Any additional schedule changes will be posted to Facebook and the CJHS live feed.
