As the 8th graders have their own 8th grade trip, the 4th Quarter Incentive to the Cheifs game is just for 6th and 7th graders. Attached is the permission slip for the event. As a reminder, all students attending school on May 20th will go to the Chiefs game unless they did not meet behavior benchmarks for the 4th quarter. Please email Mr. Wall with any additional questions.
A permission slip came home yesterday about attending the Peoria Chief's Baseball Game on Tuesday, May 20th for our 4th quarter behavior incentive. These permission slips and money need to be returned by Thursday, May 8th. On the permission slip, it outlines the benchmarks that students need to meet in order to attend.

Just a reminder that tonight is the first open gym for Wildkits Dance Team . This is for students 5th-7th grade only. Participants MUST have a physical on file with your school in order to participate. If your child did not fill out the interest survey made available in March, it can be accessed using the QR Code on the image with this message. If you child does not have a physical on file AND does not show up with a current physical, they will not be allowed to participate until a physical has been turned in. Please email Mr. Wall with questions about physicals. wallj@epd86.org. All other questions are to go to Ms. McClean mccleann@epd86.org.

Saturday, May 3rd will be our fourth annual East Peoria Music & Arts Festival. The event will take place at Central Junior High School from 2-6 pm. The festival will feature music and art from students throughout District #86. In addition, there will be art projects, food trucks, and more. If you have never been, it is an incredible event showcasing the students of East Peoria.
Please bring lawn chairs to enjoy the outdoor concert. In the event of rain, the concert will be moved inside to the main gym.
Attention 8th grade parents:
The deadline for permission slips and money for the 8th grade trip has been extended to the end of the school day on Friday, May 2. We will accept additional students who missed the deadline as space allows on the second charter bus. These additional students will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis until we reach capacity.
Permission slips and money should be turned into Mrs. McGraugh on the third floor. Please reach out to Mr. Jacobson with any additional questions at jacobsonb@epd86.org.
