The CJHS Band and Chorus will be performing on the new stage outside the Fondulac Public Library, tomorrow, Wednesday, October 4th at 6pm. In the event of rain, the concert will be held in the CJHS gym. Please join us for some great music!

Starting Monday, October 2nd, Springfield Road (between Washington St and Taylor St) will be closed due to road work. This closure is expected to last for two weeks.
The IESA State Baseball Tournament at EastSide begins tomorrow! Thank you to all of our volunteers!
CJHS is hosting the IESA State Baseball Tournament at Eastside again this year on September 29th and 30th. We are still in need of volunteers. If you are interested in helping, please contact Michelle McGraugh at 427-5281 or mcgraughm@epd86.org.

Good evening. Thank you to our staff, students, and parents for a successful first few days of school. The transportation department has been working on making any necessary revisions to routes. Some of those revisions may have altered some pick up and drop off times. Therefore Skyward has been updated to reflect any changes that may have been made due to those route adjustments. We ask that you review this information in Skyward Family Access to ensure that you have the most updated times for Monday. We appreciate your assistance with this. Due to the incoming weather we are canceling the Back To School Summer Bash for tonight at Shute School. We will host two Back to School Summer Bash events on Thursday, August 10th from 4:00-6:00. One at Shute School and one at Armstrong School. Any district family is welcome to attend either location. Individual schools will be providing more information about the Meet The Teacher nights at a later date.
Today is in-person registration at CJHS: 601 Taylor Street, from 12:00-6:30 PM for new students or those who were unable to complete the returning student online registration.
If you have a returning student and have not completed your online registration please stop by CJHS today or log in to your Family Access account and complete your on-line registration. Thank you!
The first day of student attendance for the 23-24 school year is Wednesday, August 16th. We're looking forward to a great year and can't wait to see all of our students!
Kindergarten Screening will take place on August 3rd from 12-6pm at CJHS. No appointment necessary.

There will be no Summer Learning Program the week of July 3rd. We'll see you back July 10th-13th and July 17th-20th for the second two-week session!
Thank you to Miss Bailey Cavanah for increasing our knowledge about The Science of Reading! The training participants enjoyed learning about the connection between our brains and reading- and sporting their new brain hats!
The Summer Learning Program kicks off Tuesday, June 20th! We're excited to see all those who signed up! We'll meet June 20th-22nd and 26th-29th for the first two-week session.
